As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the overall dining experience for residents in our facility. Duties Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines. Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met during food production and service. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and utensils. Help with inventory management by monitoring food supplies and reporting shortages to the kitchen supervisor. Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs or preferences of residents. Serve meals to residents in a timely manner while ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Participate in regular training sessions on food safety, culinary techniques, and assisted living protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in a hospital or assisted living environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to maintain high sanitation standards is essential. Familiarity with culinary techniques and food preparation processes is a plus.
