The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative setting. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and performance. Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. Assist with food production and preparation, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service. Utilize Revel POS system for order processing and transaction management. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and communication among staff. Qualifications Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred, with a focus on bar being advantageous. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate team members. Experience in training development is a plus, demonstrating the ability to enhance team performance. Knowledge of catering operations is beneficial for managing events effectively. Familiarity with bartending practices is desirable for roles involving beverage service. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and staff. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
