Shift Leader Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Shift Leader Burney’s Sweets and More Raleigh, NC 27609 Our highly rated, family operated bakery is looking to add a part-time or full-time team member with food service/retail leadership experience to join our awesome team. In this role, you will also be supervising the work of several other team members, while helping our guests in selecting deserts and baked goods, preparing specialty coffee drinks, scooping ice cream, taking special orders, accepting payment from guests, and performing cleaning tasks throughout the designated shift. You will also be performing key holder duties such as cash drawer balancing, conducting bank deposits, and facilitating store opening and closing procedures. It will be your responsibility to ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively. Experience working in a bakery, restaurant, coffee shop or retail environment is a MUST. Responsibilities Provide direction and feedback to team members during shifts Assign duties and tasks to team members Assist in training and coaching new Front of House team members Check cash drawers and prepare bank deposits Ensure health and safety standards are followed Address customer and employee complaints Foster and maintain a positive work environment Skills Proven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant supervisory role Knowledge of the food service industry and relevant health and safety regulations is a PLUS Commitment to excellent guest service no matter what Working well within a team Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast Strong problem-solving aptitude Ability to stand for long periods High school diploma is preferred
