Description of Work The Floor-Shift Supervisor is responsible for the resident care and nursing staff of his/her unit on their assigned shift. This person is the designee of the UNM and is responsible for making decisions in collaboration with the UNM on the assigned shift to determine the proper course of action for the unit to function at its best. This position is considered mandatory, which means that employees are required to report to work during adverse weather and emergency conditions. Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (LNMTC), located in Wilson, NC, is a state-operated certified Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). With a staff of about 520, LNMTC provides support to approximately 200 residents with complex medical needs and/or co-existing neuro-cognitive disorders.
