Full Job Description Overview:

We are currently seeking a Dining Service Supervisor to join our team. Join a team who has fun together and enjoys interacting with our caring residents.

Responsibilities:

Directs and motivates all hourly staff and administers all personnel programs and policies. Stocks all satellite kitchens and maintains inventory. Ensures all sanitation procedures are followed in main kitchen and satellite kitchens. Oversees seating arrangements in Dining Rooms. Assures daily menus are posted in Dining Rooms for all meal periods. Assists with scheduling needs of the department. Responsible for all facets of Dining Operations and closing including proper stocking of supplies (i.e. china, glassware). Balance the register at the end of meal service. Hands on Supervisor during meal periods with concentration on healthcare. Responsible for setting up/assisting with special functions. Acts in a professional manner and maintains a professional atmosphere at all times. Responsible for closing shift including complete clean up of kitchen, dishroom and floors. Accountable for Safety/Risk Management in the Dining Service Department, and ensuring all regulations are met. Responsible for accident investigation and implementation of corrective action, records, temperatures for food, dish machines, and maintains corrective action. Attending an annual in-service on body mechanics, right-to-know information and fire & safety procedures. Other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Possesses a thorough knowledge of food service operations, supervision and departmental relations. Prior Dining Experience required.
