Full Job Description Front of House Supervisor Job Description:
Backyard Brewery and Kitchen is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Front of House Supervisor to lead our team of hosts and ensure smooth restaurant operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences, and can effectively manage a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 2-4 hosts per shift to ensure seamless guest seating and a well-organized dinner service. Deliver friendly and professional customer service by greeting guests, answering phones, and enhancing the overall dining experience. Coordinate with servers and bartenders to maintain an efficient service flow throughout the restaurant. Foster a fun and positive work environment while overseeing host responsibilities and front-of-house service. Organize pre-shift meetings with hosts, delegate tasks, and ensure all side work is completed before the end of the shift. Manage the front-of-house cash drawer and oversee server cash-outs . Handle restaurant closing duties , including securing the premises at the end of the night.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask. A friendly and guest-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills. Ability to work weekend day shifts and weekday nights as scheduled.
