Kitchen Lead 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Newington, NH 03801 Kitchen Lead The Kitchen Lead position serves as a support role to the Chef/Kitchen Manager to ensure the line runs smoothly before, during, and after service and that all operational standards are upheld. The expectation is that the Kitchen lead will always act with supervisory integrity and maintain professionalism and always use good judgement. This is an entry level supervisory position with growth potential that has all the roles and responsibilities of a line/prep cook but with the added responsibilities listed below. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: BOH Team Supervision

• Lead by example (on and off the clock), be familiar with Tenets of the Tasting Room, and function as a leader in the kitchen during all shifts.
• Train new BOH employees
• Assist with ongoing TR staff training, guidance, and communications.
• Ensure that all cleaning, including daily, weekly, and monthly, is completed
• Ensure staff maintains highest level of service and maintain positive attitudes; work through issues to resolve them constructively

Kitchen Manager and GM TR Operations:

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and complete Manager’s ServSafe Certification
• Assist with BOH staff scheduling
• Assist will all kitchen supply inventory and ordering
• Help maintain prep lists, order guided, and recipe book
• Assist with menu development (test kitchen, event specials, and seasonal menu changes) This position reports to the Chef/Kitchen Manager.
