A F&B/Banquet Service Supervisor oversees all aspects of banquet service, ensuring smooth execution of event and exceptional customer satisfaction. This person will oversee setup and execution, handle client interactions to deliver a positive and memorable experience.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee and Manage all aspects of banquets including setup and breakdown, service, and A/V assistance to established service standards and client expectations.
• Attend Daily Stand-Up meeting and weekly BEO and Staff Meetings to ensure event details are correct and event information is communicated to other departments for seamless execution.
• Provide Bistro and Bar Support as needed.
• Act as primary point of contact / server for banquet events.
• Liaise with vendors such as caterers, decorators and DJ’s, to ensure smooth event execution.
• Plan venue layouts, staffing needs and event schedules based on client specifications.
• Manage client communication, including event details, timeliness and necessary changes.
• Maintain all Bistro and Banquet Equipment ensuring optimal condition and inventory (China, Glassware, Silver, Chaffers, Linens, etc…)
• Assist with food orders and month end inventories as needed.
• Schedule staff for F&B department as business levels require.
• Maintain high standards of service, food presentation and cleanliness.
• Ensure that event space is always in presentable condition when not in use.
• Resolve any issues or problems that arise during events.
• Monitor event costs and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure that all event related charges are posted to the clients account accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collect feedback from clients and guests to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety and industry regulations.
