The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow. Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards. Manage cash handling procedures, including register operations and end-of-shift reconciliation. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to enhance performance and productivity. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize resource allocation. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in kitchen management within a casual dining setting. Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Proficiency in cash handling and experience with POS systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Strong communication skills to interact positively with staff and customers. Experience in budgeting and cost control within a restaurant environment is preferred.
