Regional Food Service Director Job Type :
Full-Time Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Regional Food Service Director to oversee the food service operations across several of our nursing home facilities in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality nutrition and dining experiences to our residents.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and oversee the food service operations across multiple nursing home facilities in New Jersey. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety and dietary requirements for long-term care facilities. Develop and implement menu plans that meet the nutritional needs of residents, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences. Train, supervise, and evaluate food service staff, ensuring high standards of performance and service. Collaborate with facility management and nursing staff to ensure seamless meal service and resident satisfaction. Monitor inventory, ordering, and procurement processes to maintain cost-efficiency and quality. Develop and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and staff to ensure dining needs are being met. Ensure that food service departments meet budgetary requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Dietetics, or related field preferred. Experience in food service management, with a leadership role, preferably in healthcare or long-term care settings. Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and dietary guidelines. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple locations. A compassionate and customer-service-oriented approach to serving elderly residents.
