Director Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Experience as a Dining Services Director in a long term care setting a must Inspects the Dietary Department daily to ensure that it is safe and sanitary. Submits written reports to the administration as necessary. Plans nutritionally balanced & therapeutic meals that reflect the likes and dislikes of residents, as well as Public Health regulations. Responsible for food purchase, production, and timely service of meals. Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel. Hires, orients, trains, counsels, disciplines, and when appropriate, terminates dietary employees. High School diploma or equivalent Nursing home kitchen management Ability to work independently or part of a group. Computer knowledge Foo d Se r v i c e
