Job Description
Director of Food and Nutrition Services Camp Nejeda Foundation 910 Saddleback Rd, Newton, NJ 07860 The Director of Food and Nutrition will oversee all aspects of Camp Nejeda’s food service operations, including purchasing, meal preparation, nutrition planning, serving, sanitation, and record-keeping. The position ensures integration of healthy food choices and nutrition planning with the camp’s mission and program goals while also promoting safety, efficiency, and high standards in all food-related activities. Camp Nejeda is a unique summer camp in New Jersey dedicated to serving families with type 1 diabetes. Since 1958, it has provided a safe, supportive, and fun environment where campers can enjoy traditional camp activities while learning to manage their diabetes alongside peers who understand their challenges. Camp Nejeda’s mission is to empower people with type 1 diabetes to develop confidence, independence, and friendships that last a lifetime.

Part-time, Temporary Pay:
$19.28 – $23.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
