Manager Hillside bagel And Deli Hillside, NJ 07205 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee our operations and ensure exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality or food service management. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and team performance within our establishment. Duties Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the establishment. Provide outstanding customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly. Manage kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. Lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies. Implement training programs for staff on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas. Requirements Proven experience in supervising teams within the hospitality or food service industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences. Knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen management principles. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in interviewing candidates and participating in the hiring process is preferred.
