Job Summary Working as the Catering Director for R/A, you will have full responsibility for the quality and success of catered events and the pantry program at a designated corporate account. The catering program consists of managing 6 coffee pantries and one executive pantry, catered meetings, happy hours and exclusive events which are held throughout 12 floors that are home to some of 10 Hudson’s exclusive tenants. This position offers a Monday•Friday schedule (some evenings required) and holidays/weekends off. The luxury client space is an easy walk from the 34th street 7 train station stop.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinates and oversees all catering events Hires, trains, and schedules a small catering staff, and will be actively involved in the development of existing catering staff in-service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures Ensures successful operations of catering functions including labor cost control, foods cost control and preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup of all events Manages the pantry program

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years of experience in the hospitality industry including some supervisory or management Catering experience Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Outstanding business etiquette and client relations Associates at Restaurant Associates are offered many fantastic benefits.
