About the Role The company is seeking a visionary Marketing Director to take ownership of brand storytelling, marketing strategy, and growth initiatives. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role suited for someone with a passion for hospitality, a deep connection to NYC’s cultural pulse, and an eye for building memorable brands. This is a highly demanding and dynamic role suited for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. As a one-person department , the Marketing Director / CMO will be fully responsible for strategy, execution, and coordination—while also managing relationships with a third-party creative agency and a dedicated PR team . This role requires someone who is equally strategic and hands-on, capable of driving big-picture vision while also rolling up their sleeves to get things done on the ground. This is a hybrid position based in New York City , with an expected weekly schedule of Monday to Friday, approximately 40-50 hours/week . Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy & Positioning Lead the brand identity and voice across all current and future restaurant concepts Develop and execute marketing strategies that build awareness, loyalty, and guest engagement Ensure consistency of brand tone and aesthetic across every platform and guest interaction Marketing Execution Oversee all digital efforts: social media, email, paid ads, SEO, and website content Drive content development (photos, video, newsletters, and campaigns) with internal and external creatives Manage calendars for campaigns, seasonal menus, events, and openings Public Relations & Partnerships Collaborate with third-party PR team on media coverage and press outreach Cultivate relationships with influencers, partners, and local communities Lead strategic activations and visibility initiatives Analytics & Performance Track key marketing metrics across digital, reservations, foot traffic, and campaigns Use data to optimize strategies and allocate marketing spend Own and manage the marketing budget in partnership with ownership Leadership & Collaboration Act as the primary marketing leader, collaborating across departments including GMs, Chefs, and Beverage teams Oversee creative asset production, ensuring alignment with brand standards Work with designers, photographers, and external vendors as needed Future Growth & Expansion Provide marketing vision for new concept launches and location openings Bring creative ideas for experiential marketing and brand engagement Act as a brand steward and internal culture leader during company growth What We’re Looking For 8+ years in marketing leadership roles within hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands Proven experience building and scaling restaurant or hospitality brands in NYC Highly strategic yet hands-on, with excellent communication and storytelling skills Strong visual sensibility and fluency in digital marketing Experience managing third-party PR, creative agencies, and freelancers Comfortable being a department of one, with potential for growth

Bonus:

Familiarity with Thai cuisine, Southeast Asian culture, or nightlife-driven dining concepts

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
