Assistant Manager 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 16 North Main Street, New City, NY 10956 Job description We are seeking to hire a part-time Assistant Manager for our new Smoothie King location in New City, New York. The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store to ensure an enjoyable and positive customer experience. We are looking for a motivated leader who thrives while working in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have open availability during our normal operating hours, preferably daytime. They will also have experience in food service and/or retail. The ideal candidate is able to work 20-25 hours per week. Duties of the Assistant Manager include but are not limited to: Promoting and ensuring a positive customer experience and addressing guests concerns as necessary Managing and preparing bi-weekly payroll Preparing bank deposits 2-3 times per week Ensure the store has appropriate change and petty cash on hand at all times. Manage the overall operations for efficiency, safety and profitability Motivate staff to promote value added items to orders in order to reach sales goals Weekly inventory, Monday evenings (this is not a requirement) Maintain safety and food quality standards Recruit, hire and train new hires Ensure incoming staff complies with company policy Train staff to follow restaurant procedures Prepare and manage staff schedules Order food, retail supplies etc ,while staying within budget limitations Handle team member duties as needed The hourly wage for this role is $20 per hour, plus tips and bonus eligibility.
