HHV has a national reputation for groundbreaking on-site interpretation and award-winning digital content, particularly in the content areas of Northern slavery, regional women’s history, and storytelling. HHV is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage lead. Should have minimum two-years’ experience. The F&B lead will work closely coaching, leading, and assisting the service staff. This position reports to the Retail Manager and the Associate Director of Retail Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide coaching to team members Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations Supervise serving staff and maintain a high level of professionalism, ensuring adherence to service standards and policies Keep track of inventory, and conduct regular stock checks Reinforce an exceptional climate of hospitality within the restaurant Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and tidy environment in dining areas and prep zones Sanitize equipment
Key Requirements:
Availability to work evenings and weekends Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous Work in outdoor conditions Solid communication, interpersonal skills, and coaching skills Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) Ability to stand for long periods of time Strict adherence to company philosophy and company standards Must be ServSafe or local Food handlers certified.
