As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our team operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations. Manage food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards and customer expectations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a positive work environment. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Maintain inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions. Assist in catering events as required, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly. Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in the hiring process. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality management is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Proven ability to manage shifts effectively, demonstrating excellent shift management skills. Experience with POS systems is highly desirable. Culinary background is a plus, along with experience in catering services. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team.
