Leads distribute unloading assignments to handlers andcoordinate unloading activities at the direction of the departmentmanager. Leads manage the completion of administrative paperworkfor reporting daily activity to the corporate office and have someresponsibility for ensuring compliance with all FHI policies andprocedures. Responsibilitiesinclude:

Adaptability and the ability to handle high-pressuresituations are essential. Communicate effectively with otherdepartments and customer service to meet customer demands. In afast-paced environment, safely and efficiently unload tractortrailers delivering products to our distribution warehouses. Use avariety of forklifts to remove products from trailers. Break downpallets and restack cases onto new pallets – this is where themanual labor comes in! All other duties as assigned. Please notethis is not a travel position, and you should live local to thesite. We take pride in doing things right, and that includes theway we treat our associates.

Qualifications Required:

Education:

We believethat skills and experience are what truly matter. While educationcan be a valuable asset, it is not a strict requirement for successin this role.

Experience:

Experience in managing and leading a teamis essential. Requires a combination of leadership, organization,problem-solving, and technical skills to ensure the smoothfunctioning of the warehouse department. Strong communicationskills are essential for interacting with team members, otherdepartments, and external stakeholders like suppliers andcustomers.

Skills/Knowledge:

Good verbal/written communicationskills. Willingness to work the required schedule. Ability to speakand write English for effective communication. Basic math skills.

Attention to detail and ability to follow directions. Interactrespectfully and courteously with associates, co-workers,management, and customers. Ability to work in a team environment.

Work Environment:

This position is designated as safety-sensitiveby the company, and the ability to work in a constant state ofalertness and in a safe manner is required. Warehouse environmentwith extreme heat and cold temperatures.

Physical Demands:

Abilityto lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of theworkday. Handle cases weighing from 25 to 95 pounds and can expectto handle between 50 and 200 pallets on any given day. The abilityto hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds(e.g., machinery alarms or alarms) in moderate to loud workenvironments.
