Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor Dayshift 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 101 Green Mountain Rd, Hazleton, PA 18202 Purpose and role of job: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees safe and efficient operations at the 101 Green Mountain Road site, including shipping, receiving, raw material (RM) handling and pumping, dock management, mobile equipment training, inventory accuracy, and coordination of scrap, finished goods, and RM storage. The role upholds quality standards such as pest control, 6S housekeeping, and proper material handling. The supervisor serves as a key service provider to production by ensuring timely supply of production materials and efficient handling of finished goods.

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

Lead and promote safety initiatives in all warehouse operations. Provide effective supervision and clear communication across warehouse teams.

Shipping:

Ensure timely, accurate, and safe outbound logistics. o

Receiving:

Ensure proper inspection, documentation, and storage of incoming goods.

Raw Materials:

Manage RM inventory, oversee pumping systems and transfers, and ensure supply to production. Understand and support resin pumping system operations and troubleshooting. Lead and coordinate monthly cycle counts for finished goods, raw materials, and scrap, ensuring inventory accuracy. Serve as the primary warehouse contact for EDANA raw material audits and ensure all documentation is completed and filed according to EDANA standards. Conduct internal and external audits to uphold regulatory compliance and effective inventory control. Maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems and departmental budget. Oversee the mobile equipment fleet, including: o Routine inspection and timely maintenance o Ensuring safe and compliant operation o Performing minor troubleshooting and escalating complex issues Serve as the designated trainer for all warehouse mobile equipment, including: o Conducting training sessions for new and existing team members o Maintaining certification records o Ensuring operational and safety standards are consistently met Manage all warehouse material flows: finished goods, raw materials, salvage, and rework. Review and adjust system-generated requisitions; coordinate closely with Procurement. Track and achieve warehouse KPIs and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes within the Warehouse ERP system (e.g., JD Edwards, DSI, SAP), including: o Navigating new or updated modules for logistics and inventory o Learning new processes or interfaces quickly o Supporting team members through ERP transitions and updates o Collaborating with IT or system administrators to resolve ERP-related issues Maintain current warehouse work instructions, ensuring alignment with the Warehouse Manager. Perform other tasks as directed.

Education and experience requirements:

High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred. 5+ years in a materials/logistics leadership role. Experience with JD Edwards & DSI systems; SAP experience a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Competency in computer use and system adaptability. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional department managers.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing setting with consistent noise; hearing protection required. Safety shoes, glasses, and adherence to safety procedures are mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

Walk/stand for 100% of a 12-hour shift. Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and climbing. Push/pull loads requiring up to 75 lbs of force. Lift/carry items up to 50 lbs. Operate cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and roll manipulators. Perform daily floor sweeping and organization. Must be able to work in harsh environments, including inclement weather.
