The Floor Supervisor’s focus is to improve internal operations to solidify and optimize performance. The Floor Supervisor will be highly engaged in shifts and floor service. This position reports directly to the F&B Director. Essential Functions The following functions are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed. The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position. Perform opening, mid and closing shift duties Manage daily operations including cleanliness, organization, revenue opportunities and staffing Exercise discretion and independent judgment in facilitating zone management Ability to quickly and accurately identify critical information and make independent judgments in accordance with the philosophies and business practices Spearhead guest relations and guest recovery in coordination with F&B Director Provide exceptional guest service, thereby setting the standard for all employees Monitor staff performance and hold staff accountable for their performance. Assist in training, coaching, and development all front-of-house employees through ongoing feedback and the establishment of performance expectations Participate in on-going education for team members Manage supplies deliveries and inventory and maintain records of invoices Ensure safety & sanitation Observe employees to ensure the safe service of alcohol Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Has the ability to consistently define and achieve goals and objectives. Proven and verifiable leadership qualities with the demonstrated ability to direct, coordinate and control all facets of accommodations and property management operations. Excellent service skills Must possess a strong attention to detail Ability to work in a high stress, faced-paced environment Must possess strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage staff (at all levels) High personal integrity, professionalism and maturity Proven problem-solving abilities Excellent math, reading, writing and communication skills Microsoft Office Suite a plus Education and Experience 2+ years’ experience in a high volume, casual/upscale full-service restaurant is strongly preferred but not required Experience in a supervisory or management role required Physical Requirements This work requires the regular exertion of up to 25 pounds of force, and occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing and using hands to finger, handle or feel, frequently walking, speaking or hearing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling, lifting and repetitive motions and occasionally requires sitting, climbing or balancing and tasting or smelling; work requires close vision; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires visual inspection involving small details and observing general surroundings and activities; work regularly requires working near moving parts and occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. #SPCC
