$43.4K – $52.3K a year 21 hours ago Qualifications ServSafe Mid-level Cleaning Food preparation Associate’s degree Cocktail experience Full Job Description The food and beverage assistant’s primary tasks will be assisting the Food & Beverage Director with staff and ensuring all members are guaranteed a five-star experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Assist Director of Food & Beverage with all tasks. Supervise all food & beverage staff (front & back of house) members. Assist food and beverage director with: Scheduling Call Outs Time Off Requests Training Manage staffing needs including coordinating open positions with human resources, scheduling & performing interviews and assisting HR during the new hire process and onboarding. Filling in at the front of the house as needed including hosting, serving, bartending, expediting and clearing as needed. Making sure to stay on the floor during peak hours. Ensure cleanliness at the front of house and back of the house. Assist in working with vendors, ordering food products and beverages. Overseeing maintenance requests. Arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of dining area Assisting kitchen staff in prep as needed. Keeping any bar and drink service areas fully stocked with beverages Wiping down tables and chairs, removing rubbish and clearing event spaces Stay up to date with hospitality standards, suggest and discuss new ideas with the F & B director and General Manager. Assist staff with special events and tournaments throughout the season.

Skills:

Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and ability to follow basic recipes Excellent knowledge of food and drink pairings, particularly wine pairings Ability to mix cocktails and create drinks to order Knowledge of kitchen cleaning and pot washing equipment, such as industrial sinks or high-pressure hoses Serv-Safe Certification #HHCC
