Job Summary
Supervise commissary prepared Cold Room production for all company owned and operated convenience stores. This individual will supervise line production regarding its operational efficiency and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to.
Ensures finished products meet quality and safety standards set by the company.
Assists commissary leadership with achieving income and expense budgets.
Conducts daily protein/allergen swabbing to identify potential risks. Assists in developing and adjusting swabbing program to ensure its continued effectiveness.
Ensure the commissary complies with all federal, state, and local laws concerning food safety and labeling.
Follows all standard operating practices as set by the Spinx Company for the production facility.
Responsible and accountable for the commissary facility, its sanitation, physical image, maintenance, equipment, and inventory.
Responsible for product ordering to meet production needs.
Ensures all commissary associates are trained in company/commissary policies and procedures.
Ensures daily production is efficiently produced to meet production and labor goals.
Responsible for quality and accuracy of all prepared items and orders shipped from the facility.
Assists with producing daily production schedules.
Ensures daily completion of all reports e.g., receiving logs, cleaning logs, temperature logs.
Attend weekly Commissary leadership meeting.
Additional
Special projects as assigned.
Available to work nights and weekends due to the nature of production.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Two to four years of retail/restaurant management experience.
BS/AS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Culinary Arts degree preferred.

Communications Skills:
Effectively present information to store and office personnel and receive information from suppliers. Superior phone and typing skills are a plus.

Reasoning Abilities:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where standard responses are not available.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
State issued driver’s license, ServSafe or equivalent.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Cold room associates will work in a refrigerated environment of 40 degrees F. Warm clothing, a hat and knit gloves are required.
