Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food safety and quality. Participate in menu planning, contributing innovative ideas and seasonal dishes. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining accurate stock levels. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen. Collaborate with the catering team to prepare for special events and functions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Assist in the development of new recipes and presentation techniques. Handle food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely service during peak hours. Qualifications Proven experience in the food industry, preferably within a culinary or dietary department. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, inventory management, and catering services. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Creativity in menu planning with an understanding of current food trends. Experience in bartending is a plus but not required. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
