Summary
Wild Dunes Resort, a premier destination located on the Isle of Palms, SC, is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for the oversight of assigned dining outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service, optimal team performance, and profitability. The ideal candidate will lead by example, train and inspire staff, and uphold the resort’s AAA Four Diamond Standards.
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in promoting Wild Dunes Resort as both a top-tier destination and an employer of choice. You will be instrumental in creating memorable guest experiences and cultivating a culture of excellence among our team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise outlet teams with a focus on quality service and operational efficiency
Conduct daily line-ups andmunicate shift-specific information
Ensure a clean, weing, and well-maintained restaurant environment
Develop and implement promotions, events, and service enhancements
Maintain daily reports, logbooks, and financial security practices
Monitor hygiene and sanitation standards within all F&B outlets
Supervise team performance, appearance, and conduct
Support training, development, and motivation of outlet team members
Address and follow up on guest concerns promptly and professionally
Uphold resort and departmental standards during peak and stressful periods
Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain storage cleanliness
Attend departmental and resort-wide meetings
Stay current on industry trends and resort offerings
Promote additional resort amenities and services to guests
Ensure guest and colleague safety at all times
Maintain a professional appearance in line with resort standards
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
Supervisory experience in Food & Beverage preferred
Four or five-diamond service experience is a plus
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong leadership,munication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail andanizational skills
Professional demeanor and appearance
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to handle guest concerns with diplomacy and tact
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs
Frequent use of hands/arms for grasping and fine motor skills
Occasional overhead reaching and lifting
