Winery Tasting Room Manager Bristow Road Winery 416 Bristow Road, Crossville, TN 38571 Tasting Room Manager Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tasting Room Manager to lead our tasting room operations. This role is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience while managing daily activities within the tasting room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food handling, along with a love for the food and beverage industry. Duties Oversee daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment for guests. Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide outstanding customer service. Develop and implement tasting room programs and events to enhance guest experiences. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels for food and beverages. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and associated areas. Work with special events coordinator with staffing for special events. Requirements Proven experience in a management role within the food or beverage industry, preferably in a tasting room or restaurant setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for guests. Knowledge of bartending techniques, wine varietals and wine products Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
