Responsibilities Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement menus that cater to various dietary needs while maintaining high culinary standards. Ensure efficient food production processes to meet service demands for both regular dining and banquet events. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory effectively. Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback promptly to enhance the dining experience. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Prepare reports on food service operations, including budget management and cost control measures. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and dietary requirements. Experience managing a dietary department is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and staff alike. Familiarity with food production processes and best practices in food safety.
