Job Summary Shift Leaders will learn to work at every position inside Jimmy Johns and work side by side with managers and eventually learn how to effectively lead the store. A training process will be followed and the timeline will be based on individual performance. Shift Leaders are required to ensure all employees provide world class customer service, and follow the systems and procedures 100% to ensure restaurant profitability. Shift Leaders will oversee the execution of fast, accurate sandwiches while maintaining a clean organized unit. Responsibilities and Duties Ensure every customer gets world class service. Perform all duties of In-shoppers and drivers. Learn to effectively manage a staff of 2-10 employees. Assign, oversee and evaluate employee work and solve employee issues. Provide on the job training for new employees. Assist in the supervision of the preparation, sales, and service of food. Forecasting sales and food items. Responsible for ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning supplies, and paper supplies for unit to ensure minimum loss. Route deliveries and serve delivery drivers to maximize delivery business. Complete daily food preparation and all opening procedures. Complete closing procedures. Execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness.
