Restaurant Supervisor Job Summary:

As a Breakfast Restaurant Supervisor, you will help ensure the Servers, Bartenders, Server Assistants and Hosts provide efficient service to our guests with superior professionalism and courtesy. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager with training new staff, shift lineups, associate development and implementing customer service standards. You must be able to act as a liaison between wait staff and the kitchen staff to ensure timely and appropriate communications and proper timing for guest orders. On occasion, you will have to help resolve guest complaints when expressed. General Responsibilities Responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager with the overall restaurant operations while maintaining quality standards and maximizing food and beverage profitability. Ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations. Assist in maintaining inventories to levels that minimize waste while ensuring the restaurant is ready to serve customers. Maximize customer experience through quality of service and product. Encourage and motivate staff with a positive attitude. Operate POS and maintain security of system. Follow correct cash management procedures. Ensure all Front of House staff adhere to company “codes of conduct” and “standard operating procedures”. Conduct daily service briefings, and ongoing food & beverage trainings. Ensure correct event set ups and bookings for the day. Monitor staff breaks, timekeeping, Must have weekday, weekend, and holiday availability. Assume the role and responsibilities of the Restaurant (General) Manager in their absence. All other duties as assigned by management pertaining to the operation of the restaurant.

ZayZoon Education and Experience:

2-3 years’ experience in a full service restaurant environment A strong grasp of operational systems (POS) and computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook Moderate wine knowledge preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Detail-oriented and thorough Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests.? Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards.? Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way? Able to perform and train in all duties and descriptions of the host, bartender, server assistant, and server positions Ability to maintain a warm and friendly demeanor Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written Ability to multitask Ability to lead a team efficiently and effectively Ability to solve problems independently Extensive knowledge of Food & Beverage Operations Extensive knowledge of operating POS systems Extensive knowledge in scheduling employees Ability to stand in as and train all positions within the Food & Beverage department Ability to follow and enforce all Food & Beverage regulations
