Ticketing Travel Consultant Position Available In St. Louis, Missouri

Ticketing Travel Consultant Altair Travel and Cruises 2025 South Brentwood Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63144 We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Travel & Ticketing Agent with strong experience in air booking and proficiency in Worldspan (required) to join our team. In this role, you will support business and leisure clients by managing complex air itineraries, issuing and exchanging tickets, and ensuring seamless travel experiences from booking to departure. Experience with vendor portals, group air, and quality control tools is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide high-touch service to clients booking individual and group air travel (corporate and leisure) Issue, exchange, and refund airline tickets using Worldspan Accurately calculate fare differences, penalties, and commissions Book hotel accommodations and car rentals Monitor schedule changes and proactively re-accommodate clients when necessary Maintain clear documentation of all bookings, payments, and changes Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and internal travel advisors to ensure accurate fulfillment Assist in reviewing contracts, group blocks, and net fares when applicable Stay up to date on airline policies, ARC reporting guidelines, and industry fare structures Preferred Skills & Experience 2+ years of experience in corporate or air ticketing travel Proficiency in Worldspan GDS ; familiarity with Sabre or Amadeus a plus Solid knowledge of fare rules, airline contracts, and ticketing processes Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously Effective communicator with excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team of advisors Salary will be commensurate with experience.
