We are seeking a motivated and experienced Global Travel Manager to provide high level service to both our owner/ Executive team and employee population. Position Summary The VIP Travel Concierge provides various personal and professional services to plan, support, arrange and execute travel plans and accommodations for assigned executive or other personnel. Supports a complex individual, premium/luxury personal travel program for senior executives, and VIPs, including air, ground service, corporate accommodations, Event Travel, and VIP services. Will also include management of private charters, car service, security, etc. globally.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
Assists in calendar scheduling, traveling arrangements and itinerary Coordinates travel processes to ensure high level of customer service. Communicates with airlines, car rental companies, and hotels for special accommodations Monitors active travel to ensure all arrangements are executed as arranged Verifies and confirms appointments Learns family preferences and anticipates needs Keeps track of expenses (managing receipts, logs, credit card reconciliation and reimbursements) Provides administrative support and assistance at Market America sponsored events and meetings Notifies appropriate personnel of problems and issues Manages files and documentation with the utmost level of organization Assists with office duties in the absence of other staff Complies with company policies and procedures Partners with the family to ensure needs are met Supports the Company’s Safety Programs Acts as an ambassador and champion of the company culture, ethics, and values
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent College course work in Business, Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or related field Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a premium/luxury travel management setting including charter and private aviation, international travel services, and extensive ground transportation
CTA, CMP, CAS, HSS, CTC, DS
credentials a plus Amex travel booking system experience a plus Sabre GDS preferred Three (3) years of experience in assisting high profile, C-suite individuals Valid state-issued driver’s license
Computer/Communication Skills:
Proficient use of MS Office Products, Travel products (i.e., Sabre, Concur Travel, Concur Expense, etc.), Internet Bookings, Hotel Engine, Excel, Airline travel agency resource sites, Google Sheets, etc. High levels of organization, coordination, accuracy, English speaking/reading/writing, active listening, critical thinking, monitoring, negotiations, judgment, evaluation, service oriented, problem solving, troubleshooting, attention to detail, time management, patience, and high level of competence in corporate Travel Industry. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day tactical activities Learns family preferences and anticipates needs Notifies appropriate personnel of problems and issues Ability to get along and work with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion Thrives under pressure of deadlines and changing priorities Ability to be consistent and remain determined, focused, confident, and in control under pressure Prioritizes and models good communication skills; follows up, timely responses, proactive and positive in approach
