As a Docent, you will be responsible for educating the public about our exhibits, collections, and the mission of our organization. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Responsibilities Conduct guided tours and presentations for visitors, providing insightful information about exhibits and collections. Engage with guests to foster an appreciation for our mission and the significance of our collections. Assist in developing educational materials and programs that enhance visitor understanding. Qualifications Strong public speaking skills with the ability to present information clearly and engagingly. Some technical knowledge of electrical engineering required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse audiences. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A passion for education is required.
