We are looking for our newest addition to the Cook Museum Team and it could be you! What are we looking for? Someone who is energetic and a positive team player. This person must be highly organized and be able to effectively communicate in person, on the telephone, and via email in a fast-paced environment. Proven leadership skills are a definite plus. What does a day look like in this position? Our Field Trip Coordinator’s main priority is to plan, organize, and oversee field trips for a variety of groups to ensure that they have a world-class experience. Tasks include but are not limited to: Answering phone calls and email inquiries from groups and remaining in communication throughout the process to coordinate the field trip. Detailed scheduling of field trips scheduled at the Museum. Train field trip staff on procedures and communicate daily what the schedule is. Greet field trips arriving and oversee each group’s visit to ensure it runs smoothly. Administrative tasks such as invoicing and maintaining client records.
Requirements:
While organization and communication are keys to success in this position, another key attribute is flexibility. Even the best planned field trips can have surprises. Changes pop up, and the Field Trip Coordinator is responsible for adjusting to the situation as quickly as possible while still providing an amazing visitor experience.
