$15.50/hour ($13.50/h base + ambassadors will be eligible to receive an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for having completed the DOT process and being trained to drive safari vehicles) What you get to do: Lead tour experiences through animal exhibits and zoological facilities.
Drive a modified vehicle with guests on board through an animal habitat.
Escort guests on tours of the park; providing in-depth park and animal information, interpreting animal exhibits, providing frontline access to attractions and priority seating to select shows.
Interact with guests by greeting them and providing excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner.
Maximize tour sales by promoting multiple tour products.
Operate sales register for credit card transactions to assist guest with making reservations.
May assist other education programs, including programs, park presentations, sleepovers, and camps.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What it takes to succeed:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License and must be able to meet company’s driving requirements.
Ability to maintain a valid DOT physical card.
Must maintain a minimum of 3 days per week of work availability with at least one weekend day.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include week day and weekend shifts, evenings, overnights and holidays.
Able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis: stand, walk, climb, bend floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks.
Ability to work in an outdoor environment: high heat, humidity, cold, etc.
Ability to communicate effectively with ambassadors and guests to provide outstanding guest service.
Ability to learn and effectively use Point of Sale Systems
Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals.
Knowledge of park layout and procedures, including animal exhibits; preferred.
Knowledge of selling fundamentals preferred.
Multilingual skills preferred.
Prior guest/customer service experience preferred.
