⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Busy Food Tour Company Seeks Guides in New Orleans (New Orleans) Sidewalk Food Tours 739 Iberville Street compensation: $95 for a 3 hour tour plus tips (approx. $50 – $120 cash tips) employment type: job title: Food Tour Guide We are a busy food tour company operating in eight cities across North America. We are looking for sightseeing guides to lead our food tours in The French Quarter and The Lower Garden District. Are you a foodie and good with people? Do you love showing people around New Orleans and talking about the delicious food scene? If you answered yes to these questions, this position may be the perfect fit for you. Candidate must have lived in New Orleans for the past 5 years and know the city like the back of their hand. We offer public food tours Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10:30am – 2pm. We also offer private evening tours from 5pm – 9pm. We are especially looking for guides who can do our private nighttime tours, as well as the occasional day time tour. You must be available during these timeframes. Candidate must be able to memorize a script and recite the info so it doesn’t sound scripted. Candidate must be an amazing public speaker, who can engage an audience. This is the perfect position for actors, comedians, writers and people in the hospitality business. Ideally, we are looking for career sightseeing guides, who are looking for steady work and already have a license. If you don’t have a sightseeing license, we will sponsor you to get one.
