Full Job Description Description:

Employee will schedule and confirm tour reservations for the Museum and respond to questions and feedback regarding all tours. Employee will update docent availability and assign tours in software, Tessitura, and will report weekly tour schedules and other docent statistics as needed. Employee will schedule Zoom meetings for any virtual tours and will greet school groups arriving at the Museum. Employee will also administer the Duke Bus Fund to qualifying schools. Responsibilities Schedule and confirm tour reservations Respond to questions and feedback regarding all tours Monitor docent sign outs and substitutions Update docent availability and assign tours in Tessitura Report weekly tour schedules and other docent statistics as needed Print and monitor docent tour sign-in and attendance sheet at front desk Report tour attendance in Tessitura Administer Duke Bus Fund to qualifying schools Update docent contact information, status Schedule Zoom meetings for any virtual tours Greet school groups arriving at the Museum Wednesday-Friday and manage tablet check-out system Qualifications Needed Experience in customer service: in person, over email, and/or on the phone Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with maintaining records and database management Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook Must have the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously
