Job Description:
This position requires driving a sightseeing vehicle (mini-bus/sprinter) throughout Beaufort, SC. area while entertaining guests by narrating a sightseeing tour up to 3 times daily of approximately 1 ½ hours each in duration. Other duties can include narrating tours for Beaufort’s Gullah community, along with other transportation related moves. We are looking for someone who has an outgoing personality and loves working and talking with people. Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Driving a tour vehicle through Beaufort, SC and other areas Ability to learn and narrate sightseeing tours and routes as assigned. Making multiple stops Inspect the bus before and after the trip and record any defects you find Keep the vehicle and associated equipment, clean and in good working order Must be able to speak, write, and read in
English Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required CDL with passenger endorsement is encouraged but not required A good driving record Must pass a DOT physical upon employment Work in all types of weather for up to twelve (12) hours per day with fluctuations in temperature and conditions Ability to sit for long periods of time Must be able to deliver multiple tours each day if required Successful candidate will pass a drug test and a background check.
Schedule & Pay:
Full-Time and Part-Time Available Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Starting Rate:
$13-$15/hour + gratuity (which is often over $100 a day) Sign on Bonus for Experienced drivers
