Job Summary:
C& M Stables offers a variety of horseback riding experiences for beginning, intermediate and advanced riders. Our wranglers at C& M Stables try to make sure that every visitor has the ride of their lifetime. The beautiful beach, sand dune and ocean setting is one of the finest horseback operations on the Oregon Coast. We have approximately 60 horses on site. Our horses range in ages, from young and spunky to older and reliable. Guides match most rider experience levels, and try to make sure everyone has the most enjoyable and memorable experience possible.
REQUIREMENTS
Experienced horse rider: minimum 1 year of experience
PREFERENCE
Ability to obtain Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification (on-line) by time of hire
DUTIES:
Horse Ride Head Guide:
Perform all chores on the ranch and is guide in charge of a ride whether it be beach or trail rides.
Place customers to horse for the rides.
Assigns horse to back up guide.
Makes sure back up guide is performing on a ride as needed for safety of customers and horses.
Oversees all communication to office at check in point or as needed.
In charge of customer relations during rides.
Must be able, if asked, to operate Tractor.
Days and Hours:
Full time and part time shifts available.
Days are flexible Monday through Sunday. Hours are flexible and start at 9:30 AM.
