Fine Dining Server Farrelly’s Southern Bar and Kitchen 5532 Grove Blvd, Hoover, AL 35226 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Fine Dining Server to join our esteemed restaurant team. As a Fine Dining Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your ability to provide attentive service, showcase your knowledge of our menu, and create a welcoming atmosphere will be key to ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance the dining experience. Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in processing payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly after guests leave. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Provide attentive service throughout the meal, checking in with guests regularly to ensure their needs are met. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings. Strong skills in food preparation, food handling, and knowledge of food safety practices are essential. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while demonstrating excellent sales skills. Proficient in cash handling with basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. A passion for providing outstanding customer service with a focus on hospitality is crucial for success in this role.
