As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, including OpenTable reservations when necessary. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and sanitation standards are met. Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while maintaining high-quality service. Qualifications Previous experience in a server or customer service role is preferred but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register. Knowledge of food handling safety practices is essential. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.
