The Head Server plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests while overseeing the service staff. This position requires a strong background in food service, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently, providing guidance and support to the serving team. Duties Lead and manage the service team to ensure high-quality guest experiences. Train new servers on food handling procedures, menu knowledge, and customer service standards. Oversee the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and timely service. Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy. Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Assist in sales initiatives to promote menu items and increase revenue. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations in food service operations. Experience Proven experience in a food service or hospitality role, preferably as a server or head server. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional guest services skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
