As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit. Accurately process customer transactions using the Aloha POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station. Assist with bussing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Adhere to food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff. Qualifications Previous experience as a Cashier in the restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred. Strong math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations quickly and accurately. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
