Duties Greet guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Present menus, provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings, and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Take accurate orders using POS systems and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper payment processing. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of meals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality and casual dining environments is preferred. But not required. Strong knowledge of food service practices, including food handling and safety regulations. Excellent math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing. Proficiency with POS systems for efficient order management. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Exceptional communication skills with a friendly demeanor to foster positive guest interactions. Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
