Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused servers to join our team. As a server at 1892 East, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

Greet and seat guests with a friendly attitude, present menus, and provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

Order Taking:

Accurately take and relay food and drink orders to the kitchen and bar, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated and handled appropriately.

Service Delivery:

Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.

Table Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment.

Payment Processing:

Handle cash, credit card transactions, and check processing with accuracy and integrity. Provide guests with accurate bills and change.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other staff members, including kitchen and bar personnel, to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Compliance:

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Upselling:

Suggest additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a server or customer service role preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
