Responsibilities Greet customers warmly. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare food items as needed, ensuring adherence to sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and food preparation zones. Assist in food preparation tasks as required by the kitchen staff. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management as necessary. Requirements Previous experience in a grocery store, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred. Strong understanding of retail math for accurate cash handling. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus. Ability to sanitize work areas according to health regulations. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
