As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences by delivering outstanding service, assisting guests with menu selections, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff. Upsell menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences to enhance their dining experience. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or requests. Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to culinary standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of guest services and hospitality principles. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Experience using POS systems for order entry and payment processing is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service are essential.
