The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen ability to upsell menu items. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, including OpenTable reservations. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and assist guests with selections through effective upselling techniques. Ensure all tables are properly sanitized and set before guest arrival. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns promptly. Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Process payments accurately using the cash register and ensure proper handling of transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Qualifications Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience with POS systems, including OpenTable, is a plus. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience. Knowledge of sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to help colleagues as needed.
