This role is essential in providing a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing the front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent guest service skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately, ensuring a smooth dining experience for all patrons. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, maintaining an organized seating chart. Handle cash register operations, processing payments accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their visit. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests. Assist with food handling as necessary, adhering to safety and health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS for order entry and transaction processing. Skills Proficient in using POS systems, with experience in Aloha POS being a plus. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently. Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain health standards in food handling. Exceptional guest relations abilities, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
