We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Waiter/Server to join our team at Carmel Restaurant & Lounge. This role is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent service, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests with a warm, friendly smile and escort them to their tables promptly. Maintain knowledge of the menu, specials, and promotions. Accurately take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff. Serve meals and beverages in a courteous, timely, and efficient manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment in the host and dining areas. Assist in resetting tables, replenishing supplies, and ensuring overall cleanliness. Answer phone calls, make reservations, and manage waitlists when applicable. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide seamless service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude. Follow health and safety guidelines and adhere to all Carmel Restaurant & Lounge policies.

Requirements:

Strong customer service and communication skills. Friendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus but not required. Why Join Us?
