This position would be per-diem on an as needed basis. You would be responsible for delivering great customer service to all guest. Beverages to be made for guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Duties and responsibilities:

Set up banquet room as requested by the supervisor including glassware, service ware, linen and other items. Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guest feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them. Serve the beverage and food in the appropriate order and in tune with the expectation of the supervisor so as to ensure consistency throughout the banquet. Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards. Present and serve beverages to guests. Attend pre-shift meetings before events kick off in order to learn function particulars, including hotel and guest expectations. Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Thorough knowledge of spirits, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment and service. Exceptional guest service skills. Willingness to learn new skills. Ability to stand, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during shift. Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
